AETICAL (Castilla y León association of Information Tecnology companies) is a sectorial association of Castilla y León with no profit motive in mind. Its associated companies are dedicated to the information and communication technologies (ICT).

The aim of the association is to form itself into a dynamic entity directed to improve the competitiveness and also to guarantee the sustainable increase of our community OCT companies. One of its aims is related to the idea of contributing to settle the sectorial problems in Castilla y León, increasing the collaboration among the companies.

Its activities are the promotion of the business activities among its companies, the promotion of the research, development, technical innovation, the professional training and the defense and representation of the interests of its associated companies against the public administrations, the authorities and the regional, national and foreign organizations.

AETICAL represents more than 140 companies with a total turnover of 160 million euros and almost 1700 employees. At the same time, AETICAL is associated to the Spanish Confederation of the Information Communication and Electronic Technology Companies (CONETIC).
